At First Christian Church, we rely upon a team of volunteers in order to make our weekend services run smoothly and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.  Below is a list of different service ministries at First Christian Church and a short description of what it is.

Sunday Morning Communion

At First Christian Church, we believe that it is important for our church family to share in communion each week.  In order to maintain this critical aspect of worship, we have a team of men and women who help to administer the elements.  Additionally, we have a team that will gladly serve communion at-home to members who cannot attend a service on campus due to age, illness, or disability.

Welcome Center/Greeters
Our Greeters ministry is one of the most important ministries in the church.  For many people, their initial impression of the church will be judged based on the kind of welcome they receive at the door.  The welcome center is staffed by people each Sunday morning during the worship services to  provide information and answer questions. The greeters are located at the entrances to the church. For general information about our Greeters ministry, click here.

Parking & Shuttle Ministries
Before a person even walks into the front doors of FCC, they must find a parking spot--which due to our multiple services can sometimes prove to be difficult!  Our Parking attendants are responsible for helping each person who arrives to find a spot in one of our parking lots.  For those who have to park at a distance, our Shuttle ministry is constantly making rounds to assist people in getting to our facility.  We use "Turtle Top" type vehicle to assist those who may have difficulty getting into the van.

Wednesday Night Supper Servers
In order to foster community as well as provide an affordable meal ($7 per person, $20 family max) for those that attend our weekly Wednesday night programs for children, students, and adults, we provide an excellent dinner in the Round Room.  In order to make this available to all wish to attend, we rely heavily upon a team of volunteers to help set up the buffet, clean up, and take money.
