NEW SERVICE FOR 20'S & 30'S - Sundays at 9:45am in the Community Life Center (CLC)
Adults who are in their 20’s & 30’s are often experiencing new opportunities, new jobs, new relationships, new children—along with a number of new adjustments in life. We want to provide an opportunity to connect with others who may be in a similar situation and to do life together. At FCC, there are over 400 people who are in their 20’s and 30’s. Not only do we want to develop community, we also want to strengthen relationships with God.
FCC started offering a worship experience on Sunday mornings at 9:45 in the CLC focused on the 20s & 30s. To date it has been well received, and we are excited about the opportunities for ministry this opens up! The time and setting have been revamped and given a new focus—the 20’s & 30’s. We have been averaging 71 people in attendance. and if you are in your 20s or 30s, we encourage you to join us for this worship experience.
A typical Sunday experience includes:
Refreshments
Social interactive fun starting at 9:30am
Tim teaching live in the CLC
Sitting at round tables with friends
Praise and worship
Communion
Focus and discussion time after the teaching
Saturday Night Service
6pm on Saturdays in the Christian Life Center (CLC)
The Saturday Night Service at First Christian Church is a worship experience that includes contemporary worship music, relevant teaching, and experiential worship. Children's ministry programming for children birth through fifth grade is available during this service.
Blended Services
8:30am & 11:05am on Sundays in the Worship Center
Our blended services at First Christian Church fuse rich, traditional hymns and choruses with some of today's most transformative music. The First Christian Church choir assists in worship during these services. You can also expect to hear the same relevant, insightful teaching at these services that you would hear in any of the others. Children's ministry programming for children birth through fifth grade is available at these services. Programming for middle and high school students is available during the 11:05am service.
Sunday Contemporary Services
9:45am on Sundays in the Worship Center & in the Christian Life Center (CLC)
The Sunday Contemporary Services are designed for those who best connect with God through contemporary music and a more relaxed atmosphere. Like the Saturday Night Service, the Sunday Contemporary Services include modern worship music led by our praise band and the same relevant teaching from the other services. This service happens simultaneously in two locations: upstairs in the Worship Center (the music is first) and downstairs in the CLC (the teaching is first). Children's ministry programming birth through fifth grade is available during this service time.
Spanish-Speaking Service
10:30am on Sundays in the Spanish Worship Service Center
First Christian Church is proud to offer a Spanish-speaking service on Sunday 10:30am. This service is designed to provide a place of worship for the growing Hispanic community in the northeast Tennessee region. Including people from all over Central and South America, the Spanish service is an incredible place for people to worship the Lord in their native language.
