Purpose Statement:
Women’s Ministry exists to equip all women with the truth of the Word,
enabling them to grow in relationship and service to God and each other.
Where Small Beginnings Result in Big Significance
Significance. A word we all want to have in our vocabulary. A word we long to integrate into our lives. But where does significance begin? The Women’s Ministry at FCC believes your life already has great significance…because the almighty creator God has formed you in His image. And, He has great plans for you!
But what is that plan? What is God calling you to do?
· Is He pursuing a relationship with you?
Then get to know Him by knowing His Word.
· Is He prompting you to reach out to your neighbors?
Then have them over for coffee.
· Is He leading you to make yourself available to the lonely and overlooked?
Then pray over your schedule and make one phone call.
· Is He asking you to share your faith more openly?
Then look for opportunities.
· Is He asking you to serve in a place outside your comfort zone?
Then take the step that crosses your self-imposed boundary.
Whatever God is calling you to do, it begins with that first step. A small thing, perhaps, but something the Bible tells us not to look down upon. . .
Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.

Our goal for Women’s Ministry is to encourage women to initiate those small beginnings . . . through Bible studies, prayer groups, retreat, fellowship and service opportunities.
We know significance is in you . . . and God wants to draw it out. Let Him have His way with you this day, then sit back and watch Him smile!
