We are all created for community. It is part of God's grand design that we share life together with other people. Our daily joys and burdens are not to be faced alone, and our spiritual journey was never meant to be ventured solo.
We get an amazing picture of what this community would look like in Acts chapter two. A group of believers having everything in common meeting each other’s needs, sharing in one another’s lives and celebrating together the awe of discovering Jesus within His community.
It is this vision that drives community life at first Christian. It is our dream that everyone who calls FCC home would live in this type of community; that they would know and be known, love and be loved, and that they would share in Christ centered community and live in a continual sense of awe at the way that Jesus works both in us and through us.
