For college-aged students, there are tons of opportunities to connect with the community at First Christian.

SUNDAYS
Every Sunday morning, a small group of college students meet at the church for fellowship and study. The group starts at 11am in the Blue Room at FCC's main campus.

The college ministry is being revamped and has a ton in store for the future. You and your college student can look forward to the following upcoming events throughout the coming months:

Graduation Cookout- A party will be thrown right outside the new Student Center the night of May 19th from 6-8pm to celebrate both our high school and college FCC graduates. Parents and family members are encouraged to join us. Feel free to dress casually.

The Beauty Spot”- In the warmth of the beginning of June, we hope to travel to “The Beauty Spot” of Erwin TN on the 8th. There will be campfires, marshmallows, and plenty of hot dogs. And when the sun goes down, we will see this spot’s namesake – the most beautiful stargazing spot in Erwin, TN – where the college ministry will get to experience the Heavens as David did in the 8th Psalm.

Okoee River Rafting – On June 23rd, we will travel to the warmest rapids within four hours. Okoee River Rafting offers group rafting for group building opportunities and individual boats for the more adventurous students.

Christmas in July – Independence Day weekend (July 6th-8th) we’ll hold a winter-themed getaway for the chance to beat the heat. The college ministry will head to Gatlinburg for a weekend of ice skating, ABC Family Christmas movies, and a Christmas cabin awaiting all who attend.

Movie Madness  On July 20th, college students are invited to join us at the Student Center for Movie Madness. The night will include a water war, games, and an endless array of movies. If you need time away from work/home, this is perfect for you.

Caving Trip  The end of July means the end of summer for many college students. On July 28th, we want to facilitate a memorable adventure to conclude the summer: traveling deep into one of Tennessee’s caverns.
